Therapy Work |

 |
 Selected dogs are qualified for the prestigious Therapy Dog Certification. These dogs visit hospitals, nursing homes and other facilities with their owners. These dogs have brought countless smiles to many people.These visits are voluntary and extremely rewarding for both dogs and owners. We would love to have additional dog teams for therapy, as it is always a wonder to see what our dogs can do for others. Currently, we have ten dogs that are used in therapy work. This can prove to be a difficult test. However, it is primarily an evaluation of a dog's temperament and suitability in an institution. Clearly, types and sizes of institutions will vary.
